Overview
THIS POSTING WILL BE USED TO FILL MULTIPLE POSITIONS
The TeleSANE consultant will aid spoke site providers in providing timely, non-judgmental, trauma-informed care to the sexual assault victims. The guidance by the TeleSANE will include a forensic exam, prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, photographic documentation, referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, support, post consult follow up calls, and participation in legal proceedings. The TeleSANE is expected to follow protocols established by the Program Director and/or management of the Digital Health Sexual Assault Assessment Program. The TeleSANE may participate in providing spoke site educational opportunities related to sexual assault care topics.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates of Nursing
evidence collection, prophylaxis treatment for STI, therapeutic communications. Completed 40 hours Sexual Assault Nurse Examination didactic
Two years as a registered nurse and with two years’ experience caring for victims of sexual assault.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN
Licenses, certificates, or registration Sexual Assault Nursing Examiner
Registered Nurse or an advanced practiced nurse practitioner
