We are seeking a compassionate care navigator to join our team and support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients. This role is ideal for individuals who are interested in working with the young adult population with a focus on anxiety and depression. Applicants should be passionate about the power of utilizing technology to foster care quality and improve mental health care access. Care navigators will also have direct exposure to the day-to-day operations of running a fast-growing, telemental health company.

About Mantra Health

Mantra Health is a telemental health company that focuses on treating the young adult population. We're building a comprehensive treatment service for individuals with various mental health conditions, offering psychotherapy & psychiatric treatment by thoughtfully combining people, technology, and data. Mantra is founded by a Columbia University psychiatrist (Dr. Ravi Shah) and two former startup operators and venture capitalists. Mantra’s affiliated provider group, Wellround Provider Group, is led by Medical Director Dr. Nora Feldpausch who is a psychiatrist who most recently worked at Michigan State University.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive outreach to patients to maintain treatment engagement and adherence (phone, email, asynchonous messaging, etc)
  • Perform care navigation activities, including but not limited to coordinating care to the community, facilitating lab orders, and insurance billing
  • Ability to work independently and make thoughtful decisions around care navigation
  • Assist and work directly with the Clinical Operations Director to create and implement scalable models for operations, such as hiring provider onboarding, state regulatory reviews, and insurance credentialing
  • Closely monitor and track patient clinical and engagement outcomes on our all-in-one platform that supports seamless analytics and caseload tracking
  • Collaborate and communicate with an interdisciplinary team of internal and external providers and other stakeholders
  • Participate in cross-functional projects with product, engineering, clinical operations, business develoment, and marketing teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
  • 2+ years healthcare setting or human services experience (preferably with direct contact with clients)
  • Open to working alternative schedules (up until 8pm, Saturdays)
  • Strong verbal communicator, presents well, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing skills for communicating with external partners and clients
