An award winning Community Hospital on the Coast of Southern Oregon is actively seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team.
This medical center has proudly served the area for over 50 years and prides itself on being an integral part of the surrounding community. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center, has received Joint Commission Accreditation and the Gold Seal of Approval for Quality and Patient Safety. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will join a full service acute care facility that offers leading medical and surgical services to the region. This medical center provides specialized care for a number of medical and surgical specialties including Behavioral Health, Oncology, Cardiopulmonary and Cardiovascular Services, Emergency and Critical Care, Home Health, Radiology, Women and Infant Services, Pediatrics, and many more.
The Respiratory Therapist reports to the Manager of Respiratory Therapy and will join an acute care team that is responsible for assessing and administering appropriate respiratory therapies under the direction of a physician. The Respiratory Therapist will provide essential respiratory care under general supervision and will evaluate results in accordance with the physician’s orders.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist will perform diagnostic procedures including ABG analysis and bedside spirometers. This per will also provide oxygen, aerosol, tent, ventilator, and transport support to patients. The Respiratory Therapist must be able to respond to cardiac codes and emergencies, perform CPR, intubation, and arterial punctures.
Located on the scenic Oregon Coast, this medical center is surrounded by picturesque coastal views.
