An established critical access hospital located in northern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Physical Therapist to join their accredited healthcare team.
This organization provides access to world-class acute care services to a population of roughly 14,000 people. The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.
The Physical Therapist will join a comprehensive rehabilitative service line that provides inpatient and outpatients rehab, home health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Under limited supervision, the Physical Therapist will perform therapies and treatments to both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Physical Therapist will work under limited supervision and will adhere to all organization policies and procedures. The department strives to design an individualized care plan for each patient to ensure pain management, increased strength, increased range of motion, and increased flexibility.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Valid state of Maine license to practice Physical Therapy
- Ability to provide competent patient care and work independently
