The nonprofit hospital provides inpatient and home health speech therapy services to its tight-knit community established 50 bed critical access hospital. The Physical Therapist will join an organization that has been recognized nationally for excellence in Patient Care Experience and Patient Satisfaction. This facility offers high quality patient care over a wide range of services, including Oncology, Cardiology, PICU, Neurology, and Emergency Services.
The Physical Therapist will plan, organize, and provide all patient care services to deliver the highest quality of healthcare. The Physical Therapist's responsibilities will include coordination of the interdisciplinary team that carries out the plan of care, and ensuring effective management of visit utilization and expenses.
This person will join a well-respected non profit hospital system that truly cares about looking after the health and well-being of their community members. The Physical Therapist will provide therapy services to patients with a variety of medical injuries or disabilities in the acute care hospital inpatient setting. This position will collaborate with fellow PTs, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Physicians on patient plan of care.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate and provide therapeutic services specific to the patient's unique population, experiencing disorders involving pain, immobility and loss of function. The Physical Therapist will utilize massage, exercise, water, heat, cold, ultrasound and electricity. Treats all types of patients including orthopedic, neurological, medical, and surgical, in acute, chronic, preventative and/or rehabilitative stages.
