UTMB Health is hiring the following for all our campuses in Galveston, League City, Clear Lake and Angleton.
Experienced RN – ICU, ER, Med Surg, Periop Services, Respiratory Therapists, Patient Care Technicians, and Health Unit Coordinators.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
RN with two years of clinical RN experience. Must possess and maintain a current license or valid permit to practice in Texas. Current BLS required.
We are looking for RN's in multiple specialities in ER, OR, ICU, Med Surg at our Clear Lake Campus, ideal candidates must have related experience in the specialty of their choice. All applications will be considered based on experience and subsequent interviews.
Respiratory Therapist – Recruiting for all Campus locations in Galveston, League City and Clear Lake.
Graduation from an approved school of Respiratory Therapy, or completion of the associate degree equivalency, and successful passage of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) exam.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Must maintain credentials with the NBRC as well as licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the Texas Department of State Health Services.Current BLS and ACLS.
Patient Care Technician:
High school or equivalent AND completion of one of the following technical programs:
Completion of a recognized Nurse Assistant program OR
Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR
Completion of Medical Corpsman program OR
Completion of EMT program OR
Completion of UTMB Hospital Aide training program OR
2 years of experience in a direct patient care environment OR
Is enrolled in a recognized School of Nursing and has completed the first semester of education which contains clinical concepts and health assessment or the equivalent.
Current BLS required.
Health Unit Coordinator:
High school or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Coordinator/Clerk program, or one (1) year related job experience/college course work. Must be proficient in typing, spelling, and medical terminology. Must maintain current CPR Certification.
